Dutch company Signify will help restore lighting system in the town of Irpin, in the Kyiv region
Lighting leader Signify joins reconstruction of Irpen street lighting network destroyed by the russian army.
The mayor of Irpin Alexander Markushin reported about it on Telegram.
Signify was formerly known as Philips Lighting. The company is a world leader in the field of lighting.
According to the mayor, the company is handing over 300 energy-efficient lamps for the streets of Irpen.
"The respective agreement was signed with the head of Signify Alexei Shershny," Merkushin added.
From the first days of the full-scale war in Ukraine, Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, a professor and founder of the Yale University's Institute of Senior Leaders, has been monitoring companies that have worked or are working in Russia with a team of experts and students.
According to a group of Yale University experts that they update daily, Signify has only suspended exports to Russia.
