Poland has supplied more than 200 tanks to Ukraine
Poland has supplied Ukraine with more than 200 T-72 tanks and several dozen infantry fighting vehicles.
Polish Radio reported this
"Referring to Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki's report on military aid to Ukraine, it has already exceeded 7 billion zlotys (1.5 billion euros)," said Polish Deputy Defense Minister Wojciech Skurkiewicz.
It is reported that Poland has almost 400 T-72 tanks. Some of them were modernized in 2019, mostly in terms of the firepower of this equipment.
Poland is primarily handing over to Ukraine tanks that have not been modernized.
According to Polish Radio, in addition, Poland has already delivered to Ukraine 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers, Grad MRLS, and air-to-air missiles for MiG-29 and Su-27 aircraft.
As well as Polish drones made by WB Electonics, Warmate drones, Perun portable anti-aircraft missile systems and "a large amount of ammunition."
