"Preparing for this scenario": US on russia's threats to use nuclear weapons
US Assistant Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland spoke about russia's threats to use nuclear weapons. According to her, the States and allies are preparing for such a scenario.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the words of Nuland in an interview with Meduza.
"Unfortunately, since the beginning of this conflict, we have realized that the threats posed by putin should be taken seriously. Therefore, the United States and our allies are preparing for this development. But if it happens, it will be a war crime of such a magnitude that neither he nor russia will ever recover from the consequences. Certainly not during our lives with you," Nuland said.
The Assistant Secretary of State for Political Affairs also noted that such threats point to russia's irresponsible behavior.
Meanwhile, another fire broke out at strategic sites in russia.
