Juvenile prosecutors say at least 610 children were injured during russia's war in Ukraine
The Office of the Prosecutor General announced the death of 217 children in Ukraine due to the armed aggression of the russian federation

According to juvenile prosecutors, more than 610 children were injured/wounded in Ukraine as a result of the armed aggression of the russian federation.
"According to official data, as of the morning of April 28, 2022, the number of child victims has not changed, 217.
Official data on the wounded have not changed, more than 393.
These figures are not final, as work is underway to establish them in places of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories," the statement said.
Children were most affected in:
- Donetsk region – 129,
- Kyiv region – 114,
- Kharkiv region – 93,
- Chernihiv region – 66,
- Kherson region – 44,
- Mykolaiv region – 43,
- Luhansk region – 37,
- Zaporizhzhia region – 27,
- Sumy region- 17,
- City of Kyiv – 16,
- Zhytomyr region – 15.
The agency also reported that 1,508 educational institutions were damaged as a result of daily bombings and shelling of Ukrainian towns and villages by the russian armed forces.
At the same time, 102 of them were completely destroyed.
