The prosecutor's office has identified 10 russian servicemen involved in the torture of peaceful Ukrainians in Bucha

Rubryka reports, referring to the Facebook page of Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova.

Venediktova said that prosecutors of the Bucha District Prosecutor's Office "awarded well-deserved titles" of suspects in the treatment of civilians and other violations of the laws and customs of war to the first 10 servicemen of this brigade of the RF Armed Forces:

  • Junior Sergeant Vyacheslav Lavrentyev
  • Private Grigory Naryshkin
  • Private Vasily Knyazev
  • Corporal Semyon Maltsev
  • Private Sergei Peskarev
  • Private Albert Radnaev
  • Corporal Mikhail Kashin
  • Corporal Andriy Bizyaev
  • Corporal Dmytro Serhiienko
  • Sergeant Nikita Akimov.

It was they who took part in the robbery. They are also being investigated for involvement in the killings.

"In a relatively short period of time, the investigation established that during the occupation of Bucha, they took unarmed civilians hostage, killed them with hunger and thirst, kept them on their knees with their hands tied and their eyes glued, and mocked and beat them.

Fists and clubs were used. People were beaten out with information about the location of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Defense Forces, and some were tortured for no reason at all.

"russian servicemen threatened to kill the victims and even imitated the execution of their prisoners by firing in their direction," Venediktova said.

To recap, the bodies of hundreds of killed and tortured citizens who died during the occupation of the city by the russian army were found in Bucha.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the horrors in Bucha, Borodianka, and Mariupol were blocking the chances for talks with russia.
