The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck at enemy positions on Zmiinyi Island
Rubryka reports, referring to Facebook of press service of the South Operational Command.
According to the military, the defenders hit the control point and destroyed the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system.
"Meanwhile, our troops continue to fight on the occupied frontier.
The enemy tried to advance towards the Mykolaiv region near the villages of Tavriiske and Nova Zoria, but was unsuccessful, suffered significant losses, and retreated.
In the Black Sea operational zone, our forces inflicted damage on enemy positions on Zmiinyi Island.
"Hitting the control point, destroying the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system has been recorded, and the losses of the ruscists are being clarified," the statement reads.
The naval group of the enemy fleet was reformatted in the direction of reduction.
According to the South Command, the total enemy losses per day are:
- 16 invaders,
- 1 tank,
- 4 units of automotive equipment, 2 of them armored.
In addition, the Odesa region was attacked by 3 cruise missiles, and a hit on the bridge across the Dniester estuary was recorded. No one was injured. Traffic is partially restricted. Restoration works are underway.
On the eve of a pseudo-referendum in the Kherson region, the occupying power is trying to appoint its "leadership" from among local collaborationists, continuing to agitate and try to bribe the local population with food.
