President of Moldova convened the Security Council due to the situation in Transnistria
On April 26, Moldovan President Maia Sandu convened a meeting of the High Security Council on the events in Transnistria
This was reported by the press service of the Presidential Administration of Moldova.
According to the press service, the meeting will take place at 13:00, then at 15:00 Sandu will hold a press briefing.
As reported by Rubryka, on April 25 in the afternoon there were explosions in the building of the "Ministry of State Security" in Tiraspol, and the next day the tower of a radio and television transmitter blew up.
Moldova's Information and Security Service said after a series of bombings in Transnistria that it was closely monitoring the situation in the country and urged citizens not to trust reports from obscure sources.
The day before, the ISS convened an emergency meeting after the first reports of explosions in Transnistria.
Car queues formed after explosions in unrecognized Transnistria left for the Moldovan government-controlled territory.
