Poll: Macron wins the French presidency

On the evening of April 24, the runoff of the presidential election ended in France. Incumbent leader Emmanuel Macron and pro-Russian politician Marine Le Pen ran for the presidency.

According to unofficial exit polls, Emmanuel Macron is winning the presidential election in France, writes France24, citing data from Ipsos.

Poll results:

Results by sociological group Ifop:

  • Emmanuel Macron – 58%;
  • Marine Le Pen – 42%;

In addition, according to an exit poll commissioned by BFMTV:

  • Emmanuel Macron – 57.6%;
  • Marine Le Pen – 42.4%.
