Media: kremlin doesn't know how to end the war without collapsing putin's rating

The kremlin doesn't understand how to end the war through negotiations and without collapsing the rating of russian president vladimir putin, and complains that the propaganda "exaggerated the stoking of Nazism in Ukraine."

This was reported by Meduza with reference to sources in the administration of the President of russia.

The domestic political bloc of the russian federation has come to the conclusion that there are currently no "good PR scenarios for overcoming the war" for russia that would not lead to a fall in the government's rating.

Such "scenarios" in the domestic bloc began to work out a few weeks ago. "They looked, twisted it out; no clear scenario is visible. Therefore, they decided not to prepare an [public] opinion on the possible conduct of negotiations [and peace], let everything flow," explains one of the sources.

The kremlin is convinced that most russians take the war seriously as a "fight against Nazis and Nazism." To confirm this, they refer to the results of closed "opinion polls."

In particular, according to the kremlin, one of the most serious obstacles to "society's withdrawal from the war" may be the "position of many middle-class members" who allegedly support the special operation. According to them, the middle class is convinced: "In the war, we must go to the victory, if it has already started, to Kyiv or even to Lviv. You can not retreat."

Sources say the kremlin fears dissatisfaction with the withdrawal and talks. According to the authorities, it could even lead to street protests.

The sources explain this hypothesis by the fact that russian propaganda "overdid it by stoking the topic of Nazism" in Ukraine.

At the same time, the AP staff publicly supports this rhetoric, as they believe that it is "too late" to argue with public opinion, and we will have to fight for some result that can be declared a "victory."

At the same time, two political technologists (one of them previously cooperated with the AP, the other still cooperates with the kremlin) questioned the adequacy of such fears: "Relying on some sociology is strange now. People are more passive, they can be against the war, but also outside it. In moscow, middle-class cars with the letters Z are no way to be seen."

Both sources are convinced that in the event of "suppression of propaganda," no protests from the supporters of the war can be expected. According to one of them, "citizens will stop thinking and talking about Nazis who will completely switch to their personal problems."
