The evacuation of women, children and the elderly continues in Mariupol on April 21

Rubryka reports, referring to the Facebook page of the Minister of Reintegration Iryna Vereshchuk.

According to the official, four evacuation buses managed to leave the city yesterday through the humanitarian corridor.

According to Vereshchuk, they spent the night in Berdiansk and are now heading to Vasylivka.

"We are waiting for them in Zaporizhzhia soon.

Today we continue to evacuate women, children, and the elderly.

Boarding of buses is happening on Shevchenka Boulevard on the ring near the Port City shopping center at 14.00.

The security situation is difficult. There may be changes. Please follow the official announcements," the minister said.

They will also try to break through the humanitarian corridor from the Kherson region.

These are three settlements: Vysokopillia village, Novovoznesenske village, and Myroliubivka village.

Collection points:

  • Vysokopillia -Vyzvolyteliv street, 112 (near the village council);
  • Novovoznesenske – Shkilna street, 28B (near the village council);
  • Myroliubivka – Shevchenka street, 82 (near the school).

The day before, Vereshchuk said that the humanitarian corridor from Mariupol did not work as planned.

"Due to the lack of control over their own military on the ground, the occupiers were unable to ensure a proper ceasefire.

Also, due to the inherent disorganization and negligence, the occupiers were unable to provide timely transportation of people to the point where dozens of our buses and ambulances were waiting," she wrote.
