The adviser to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andriushchenko reported about it.

"Mariupol as of now. The Azovstal area is being bombed and shelled right now. At the same time, fighting is taking place in the area of ​​the tram depot, which is at a considerable distance from the Azovstal territory," he said.

According to Andriushchenko, the russians planned to destroy all those hiding in Azovstal.

According to him, people can be saved only if foreign partners intervene and provide security guarantees for evacuation.
