Deputy PM Vereshchuk states the authorities agreed on a humanitarian corridor from Mariupol for women and children

A humanitarian corridor from Mariupol via Manhush and Berdiansk to Zaporizhzhia for women with children and the elderly is to open on April 20 in the afternoon.

Rubryka reports, referring to the Telegram channel of the Minister of Reintegration Iryna Vereshchuk.

"Humanitarian corridor from Mariupol for today, April 20, 2022.

Given the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Mariupol, it is in this direction that we will focus our efforts today.

We managed to agree in advance on a humanitarian corridor for women, children, and the elderly.

Gathering in Mariupol today, April 20, from 14:00 on the corner of Tahanroh Street and 130 Tahanrozkoi Dyvizii.

The convoy will follow the route:

Mariupol – Manhush – Berdiansk – Tokmak – Orikhiv – Zaporizhzhia," Vereshchuk noted.

Vereshchuk warned that the security situation was difficult, so changes might occur during the corridor.

The Minister asked to follow the official announcements.

"We will make every effort to make everything work properly," Vereshchuk added.

To recap, there have been no humanitarian corridors in Ukraine for three days now, and people have not been let out of Mariupol since April 11.
