In an interview with Hennadii Butkevych's company, BGV Group Management, the management explained what business landmarks they considered the most promising immediately after the war in Ukraine.
Serhii Voitsekhovskyi, a member of the Board of Directors, singled out two important fields: reconstruction of the country and mining. According to the entrepreneur, they will be especially important for Ukraine because of the aggressive and destructive actions of russia today:
"After the victory in Ukraine, the business of rebuilding the country will definitely develop. As of the end of March, russia fired more than 1,000 missiles across Ukraine and destroyed dozens of cities. Therefore, we have to restore housing, transport infrastructure, hospitals, and schools. There will be enough work for everyone.
The mining industry will be advantageous. Ukraine needs its own gas, oil, granite, sand, ore, and more. Therefore, our company will not change course, continue to develop its mining enterprises, and increase capacity."
"We will also continue to develop sports in Ukraine. For many years in a row, our founder (Hennadii Butkevych – ed.) supports equestrian sports, boxing, football, tennis, and much more," said Serhii Voitsekhovskyi in an interview.
Among other things, the crushed stone industry will be developed, which will also help rebuild the country, especially the infrastructure and roads destroyed by the occupiers. In particular, even before the start of russia's full-scale offensive, the company announced the opening of a plant in the Zhytomyr region. Production is planned to start now, during the war.
Oleksandr Naumyk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, on the example of BGV Charity Fund, emphasized the development of charity in the country:
"After the war, we will continue to implement the projects of the charity fund. To do this, we have chosen three main areas of humanitarian work:
It is reported that in just the first month of operation, the BGV Charity Fund and its partners delivered 115 trucks of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, which is almost 2,300 tons of basic necessities, medicines, drinking water, baby food, personal hygiene products, clothing, pet food and much more.
