Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units destroy four cruise missiles over Lviv Region
Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units have destroyed four cruise missiles over Lviv Region, which were launched by Russian Su-35 fighters.
The relevant statement was made by Lviv Regional Military Administration Head Maksym Kozytskyi on Telegram.
"In the morning of April 16, 2022, Russian occupiers launched missile strikes on Lviv Region from Su-35 fighters. The anti-aircraft missile forces of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed four cruise missiles," the report states.
According to Kozytskyi, Russia's Su-35 fighters took off from the Belarusian air base of Baranovichi.
A reminder that last night Russian troops launched missile strikes on Poltava Region and Kirovohrad Region. In the morning of April 16, 2022, Russians also attacked the city of Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk Region with missiles.
