Ministry of Defense reports that occupiers involve additional divisions for storming Mariupol
The situation in Mariupol, Donetsk region, is currently difficult. It is noted that fighting continues in the city.
This was stated by the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Motuzianyk during a briefing at the media center.
According to him, the russian army is constantly recruiting additional units to storm the city.
It is noted that active fighting is currently underway near the Iliich plant and in the port area.
"The situation in Mariupol is complicated and difficult. Fighting is underway. The Russians are unable to completely capture the city. The armed forces will do everything possible to unblock the city," he said.
