Soldiers of the Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to liberate several settlements in the southern regions of Ukraine from the russian occupation forces
Rubryka reports, referring to the Facebook page of the Airborne Assault Command.
According to the command, units of the 80th Separate Assault Brigade of the Assault Troops recently conducted an operation to destroy russian forces.
"Due to certain circumstances, we cannot disclose in detail the course of this operation. However, it should be noted that the Lviv paratroopers were very successful," the statement said.
"Ukrainian fighters detected and suppressed control points, as well as fire means and other important objects of the enemy, in advance.
After that, the assault units carried out offensive operations.
Having suffered significant losses, the occupiers were demoralized and began to retreat. As a result, the paratroopers liberated several Ukrainian settlements from occupation," the military said.
