The Pentagon has confirmed that most of the weapons from the US military aid package are already in Ukraine

The US Department of Defense said that a significant amount of weapons from a large aid package to Ukraine had already been handed over to the Ukrainian Armed Forces

This was announced at the Pentagon.

According to a US Department of Defense official, most of the $800-million package of military aid has already been delivered to Ukrainians.

The Pentagon is also working on an additional $100 million program to supply additional Javelin missiles.

They also noted that Switchblade unmanned aerial vehicles were already in Ukraine and are used for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

These UAVs can carry explosives and have cameras, video, and sensors.

A Pentagon official said that Ukrainian fighters needed only a day or two to learn how to work with Switchblade.

He also noted that at the moment, the russians had launched about 1,540 missiles.

russian airstrikes continue to focus on Mariupol, Ukraine, and the Joint Forces operation area there and in the east of Donbas.

The official stressed that the russian convoy was still about 60 kilometers north of Izium.

"We estimate that they are moving, but not at breakneck speed," a Pentagon official said.

In addition, the official added that Ukrainians needed air defense systems and aircraft.

"[Ukrainians] have made it clear that they want to increase their reserves for air defense capabilities.
