russian occupiers shot many people and drove tanks over bodies In Irpin, the mayor reports

russians did real atrocities in the city: they shot people, and then rode on the bodies with tanks

The mayor of Irpin Oleksandr Markushyn spoke about this during an online conference organized by the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation.

"There are dead women and dead children in the area that was occupied that 30% of the city.

When we liberated the city, residents said that the occupiers began to divide families, take away men, and leave children and women. The men were taken away in exchange for prisoners.

Those who russians did not like – there are facts, there are testimonies of people – were shot, those who did not want to surrender were shot. The baby died, and many men died.

Even more brutal, simply inhumane were the situations when they shot our people and then drove tanks over these bodies, and only when we drove out this abomination, we were able to collect the remains of people. We tore bodies off the asphalt with shovels," Markushyn stressed.

The mayor noted that there were also cases of rape of women.

In addition to killing and harassing women, russian invaders ruthlessly looted Irpin's homes.

According to Markushyn, they took everything from washing machines to underwear.

As Rubryka reported, on March 28, Irpin was liberated from the Russian occupiers.

On April 2, Ukrainian troops completely liberated the territory of the Kyiv region from the Russian occupiers.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine regained control of Irpin, Bucha, Hostomel, and other settlements.

The mayor of Irpin Oleksandr Makrushyn said that according to preliminary data, up to 300 civilians and up to 50 servicemen died in Irpin.
