Borodianka is one of the most destroyed cities in the Kyiv region
This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyi during the press tour organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs for representatives of Ukrainian and foreign media.
"Currently, the city of Borodianka is one of the most destroyed cities in the Kyiv region.
Locals talk about how planes came in and fired at rockets from low altitudes in the first days of the war," the minister said.
"Rescuers arrived immediately after the explosion of the building (one of the high-rise buildings – ed.), and began to dismantle it… but the enemy began firing at rescuers…
The rescuers returned the next day and began to continue dismantling the rubble. And it was possible to save those people who were under these blockages…
However, rescuers were fired upon again and then had no access to the site. We understand that there are no people left alive now," said locals.
Monastyrskyi also stressed that the fact that the russians killed in Borodianka was another crime against humanity, as there are no military facilities in the city.
As reported by Rubryka, the National Police of Ukraine has opened a "hot line" for relatives of those killed in hostilities by the russian federation.
