Reintegration minister and military administrations call for the evacuation of residents of two regions
Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk and military administrations have called for the evacuation of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions as long as it's possible.
This was announced by Vereshchuk on the air of the all-Ukrainian telethon, quoted by the Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories.
"A decision must be made immediately if the head of the military-civil administration, for example, the heads of the military-civil administrations of Luhansk and Donetsk region, demand people to leave and do everything possible to evacuate and we do it every day.
It must be done because then people will be under fire, they will be shot and there is nothing they can do. And we will not be able to help them. Because it will be almost impossible to stop the fire. From my experience, I will say especially Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Of course, part of the Kharkiv region.
We need to evacuate. If there is such an opportunity. And now there is still an opportunity," she said.
Vereshchuk explained that the withdrawal of the occupier's troops from Kyiv and Chernihiv regions was not a gesture of goodwill before the next round of talks, as russian officials are trying to present. It was a gesture of the iron will of the Ukrainian army, government, and the entire Ukrainian people.
