German Finance Minister Christian Lindner has said the European Union must work to sever all economic ties with russia over its "criminal war" in Ukraine. But he questioned the immediate embargo on russian gas imports.

This was reported by Reuters.

"We are dealing with a criminal war," Lindner said in Brussels ahead of talks with his EU counterparts. "Obviously, we must end all economic ties with Russia as soon as possible. Gas cannot be replaced in the short term."

He said all options were being considered and that a comprehensive ban on all energy imports from Russia would cause greater economic damage to EU member states than to Russia.

Therefore, the EU must consider separately the possibility of banning oil, coal, or gas, which can be replaced at different speeds.

To recap, former German Chancellor Angela Merkel insists that she considers her decision not to admit Ukraine to NATO in 2008 right, despite criticism from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Speaking to reporters in the streets of the liberated Bucha, Zelenskyy said that former German Chancellor Angela Merkel understood the essence of his invitation to look at the victims of the Russian occupation.

To recap, Zelenskyy visited Bucha, where evidence of mass killings of Ukrainian civilians by Russians was found.

On April 1, Bucha was liberated from the Russian occupiers. On April 2, Bucha Mayor Anatoliy Fedoruk announced that nearly 300 citizens had been buried in mass graves and that dozens of corpses lay in the streets, some with their hands tied.

As of the morning of April 4, 330-340 civilians killed by russians in Bucha were buried.

On April 3, the Prosecutor General announced that 410 bodies of killed civilians had been removed from the territory of the Kyiv region, which had been liberated from the occupiers.
