1,500 food kits from Bukovyna delivered to besieged Izium

1,500 food kits of humanitarian aid were delivered from Bukovyna to the blockaded city of Izium in the Kharkiv region.

This was reported by the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration on Facebook.

"The saving cargo from Bukovyna was delivered to Izium, Kharkiv region. It is 1,500 food kits (one family needs one for two weeks), hygiene products, a range with baby food, diapers," the statement said.

It is noted that the car with assistance from the Humanitarian Headquarters of Bukovyna was loaded on March 31. However, the path was so difficult that it took almost four days.

On April 3, Izium received the goods and food it needed.

"Many thanks to the brave drivers who, risking their lives, did everything to help thousands of other people," the regional administration added.

According to official information, so far the Russian invaders have destroyed 80% of the houses in the city. There is no electricity, heat, and water, and the number of victims is currently impossible to count.
