Russian forces lost about 18,000 personnel – General Staff
From February 24 to April 3, the total combat losses of Russian troops stand at about 18,000 personnel.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote this on Facebook.
The enemy also lost 644 tanks, 1,830 armored combat vehicles, 325 artillery systems, 105 MLR systems, 54 air defense units, 143 aircraft, 134 helicopters, 1,249 vehicles, 7 vessels, 76 fuel tank trucks, 89 UAVs of the operational and tactical-level, 24 units of special equipment, and 4 mobile SRBM systems.
It is noted that the data on enemy losses is being updated, as the calculation is complicated amid highly intense hostilities.
On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities, conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.
Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
