Italy's top diplomat announced that his country is ready to guarantee Ukraine's neutrality
Luigi Di Maio, Italy's foreign minister, said this after a meeting in Baku with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ceyhun Bayramov, Rubryka reports with reference to La Repubblica.
"Italy is working non-stop to end this conflict through sanctions and never abandoning the diplomatic way.
Continuing negotiations between the parties and a humanitarian truce are priorities.
We take note of the progress made in Turkey since the meeting between the two delegations.
The Italian government is ready to contribute to the peace process and act as a guarantor of Ukraine's neutrality, " Italy's top diplomat stressed.
