A humanitarian train arrived in Ukraine from Lithuania
As part of joint humanitarian initiatives, the Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a fifteen-tonne train carrying humanitarian aid from Lithuania arrived in Ukraine.
According to the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Serhii Naiev, the aid consists of food products for long-term storage, as well as hygiene products, and more.
"After important work on customs clearance and sorting, this cargo will be sent to the needs of a military group performing combat missions in the south-eastern direction as soon as possible," said Lieutenant-General Serhii Naiev.
The commander added that all the necessary things were collected by caring people from Poland. Customs clearance, cargo collection, and preparation of applications were carried out by representatives of the International Association for Support of Ukraine Charitable Foundation, headed by Olha Chuiko.
"Important support in the work is provided by Ukrainian carriers, namely the president of the Association of International Road Carriers of Ukraine Leonid Kostiuchenko," said Lieutenant-General Serhii Naiev.
