Russian occupiers purposefully fire at the building with a red cross in Mariupol, Azov Regiment reports
Invaders in Mariupol deliberately destroy a building marked with a red cross by air and artillery shelling
This was reported by Azov Regiment fighters.
According to the military, the Russian aggressors have once again confirmed that they are war criminals.
They do not follow any rules and principles of warfare.
"This time they committed a war crime against the International Committee of the Red Cross. The occupiers are deliberately destroying a building marked with a red cross on a white background by air and artillery fire.
This is one of the most heinous war crimes. After all, places with wounded, civilian or humanitarian cargoes, are usually marked with a red cross," the statement reads.
According to the Azov fighters, the only ones who violated the rules of the war were the troops of Hitler's Germany.
To recap, the ICRC has been cooperating more closely with the Russians recently.
In particular, they promote the forced deportation of Ukrainians to the aggressor country and plan to open a reception center for Ukrainians in Rostov, Russia.
