Russian invaders brought down fire on Lysychansk in Luhansk region: what is known
In the Luhansk region, Russian troops fired on Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, Popasna, Kreminna, and Lysychansk
Rubryka reported this, referring to the Facebook page of the Head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Serhii Haidai.
He also noted that there were victims in Lysychansk.
"At about 6:30 a.m., an enemy opened fire with heavy weapons on residential neighborhoods in one of the Lysychansk districts.
We have significant destruction of high-rise buildings. Information on the number of dead and wounded is being clarified.
There are a lot of blockages. Rescuers are trying to save the living," the statement said.
The leader stressed that the Russians were targeting only residential areas.
Kreminna was shelled from aircraft, and positional battles in Popasna and Rubizhne are still ongoing. These cities are under the Ukrainian flag.
In Rubizhne and Severodonetsk, food and non-food stores are on fire as a result of the shelling.
Haidai writes that the Russians are doing this on purpose to leave people without the essentials: products and hygiene products; they are firing at everything because they do not know if the shops are full.
In addition, in the regional center, they roamed the old district, and damaged high-rise buildings, garages are burning en masse.
