Ukrainian volunteers launch an info platform for foreigners who want to help Ukraine
Help Ukraine Online is a universal English-language information platform, which gathers maximum opportunities for people wanting to help Ukraine in the war with Russia. These include lists of funds for financial assistance, global petitions, instructions for participation in the information battle, and much more. The platform was created on the initiative of Ukrainian Inna Nelson, who lives in Australia, with the help of the Ukrainian digital agency 42DM.
The Help Ukraine Online platform contains:
- facts of Russian aggression, photos, and videos;
- links to funds that raise money for the military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine (in particular, donations can be transferred in cryptocurrencies);
- lists of petitions with links and instructions on how to contact the leadership of their country to help Ukrainians defeat the aggressor;
- instructions for the informational fight through posts on social media, messages to friends, complaints on Youtube, and even through Tinder and a simple online game;
- links to sites for people wishing to join the IT army or fight for the truth, democracy, and life of peaceful Ukrainians in the International Legion of the Armed Forces;
- a selection of proven news resources.
The initiator of the platform, Inna, says: "After learning about the Russian invasion, I couldn't stay on the sidelines from the terrible trials that befell Ukraine. The situation in the country was deteriorating by the hour, and it became clear that assistance was critical at many levels at the same time. Thus, I came up with the idea of creating a universal English-language platform Help Ukraine Online, where everyone who cares could choose a convenient way to join the fight against Russian aggression. Today it is a really powerful source of information for the English-speaking audience."
