American director and actor Sean Penn came to the Lviv region to establish a partnership with his charity in Ukraine. In this way, he wants to support our people in the struggle for freedom and sovereignty.
This was announced by the Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Maksym Kozytskyi.
During the meeting with Maksym Kozytskyi, Sean Penn noted that the experience of Ukraine's struggle was an example for the entire world.
In turn, the Head of the Regional Military Administration said that the Lviv region has become a way of life, as the region has already accepted more than 250 thousand people for temporary residence.
"More than 1,300,000 portions of food have been distributed. We plan to build temporary housing for IDPs because living in schools, kindergartens and dormitories is not an option. In the end, these institutions will soon be up and running," Kozytskyi said.
He also told the actor how his organization could support the Lviv region so that it can help displaced people more. He also hopes for fruitful cooperation.
