Bellingcat: Abramovich and participants in talks between Ukraine and Russia had symptoms of chemical weapons poisoning

Three members of the Russia-Ukraine talks, which took place on the night of March 3-4 in Kyiv, showed symptoms of chemical weapons poisoning. Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich was one of the victims.

This was reported by a group of investigative journalists Bellingcat, as well as The Wall Street Journal, citing people who are familiar with this issue.

Bellingcat writes that Abramovich, together with another Russian businessman, took part in negotiations with the People's Deputy of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.

The negotiation round in the afternoon of March 3 took place in Ukraine and lasted until approximately 22:00.

Later that night, three members of the negotiating team went to an apartment in Kyiv and experienced the first symptoms, including inflammation of the eyes and skin and sharp pain in the eyes, later that night.

The symptoms did not subside until morning.
