Vereshchuk: all agreed corridors worked, 5,208 people were evacuated

On March 26, all of the ten agreed humanitarian corridors worked. A total of 5,208 people were evacuated. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk.

From Mariupol to the city of Zaporizhzhia, 331 people got by own transport. Mariupol residents, who were evacuated from Berdyansk yesterday, were also brought to Zaporizhia. All 4,000 people are safe.

There were 48 buses in the column from Berdyansk, provided by the cities of Zaporizhia, Dnipro, and Kropyvnytskyi.

Five buses with residents of settlements of Berdyansk district of Zaporizhia region joined the column by this route.

Two seriously injured children and one infant with pneumonia were taken by ambulance to a hospital in Zaporizhia. All the necessary help for children from Mariupol is already provided.

In the Kyiv region, 289 people were evacuated from the village of Plesetske to the town of Fastiv, as well as the villages of Severinivka, Chervona Sloboda, Rozhiv and Sytnyaky to the town of Bila Tserkva. We managed to get to the town of Borodyanka again, from where 62 people were evacuated.

In the Luhansk region, 526 people were evacuated from the cities of Rubizhne, Lysychansk, Severodonetsk, Popasna, Gorskoye and the village of Nizhne.

During the evacuation, 80 tons of humanitarian aid were also transferred to these cities: canned food, cereals, flour, meat.
