This war can't be without victory - Zelenskyy
From now on, Bucha, Okhtyrka, and Mykolayiv will receive honorary titles of City-Heroes.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a traditional evening address.
"Every day of our defense brings us closer to the peace we need. We bring victory closer because in this war we cannot do without victory. And we cannot stop for a minute. Because every minute is about our destiny, about our future. About whether we live…"
Zelenskyy said Ukraine had lived a month defending itself against the Russian invasion. "If Russia knew it would be so, it would be afraid to come here," he said.
He noted that within a month, the Ukrainian Armed Forces withheld all major areas of attack. The world has also applied painful sanctions against Russia. "We are agreeing on new ones," Zelenskyy said.
He spoke about the important decrees signed on March 24. In particular, the awarding of the title of Hero of Ukraine to seven soldiers from the National Guard, five of them, posthumously. From now on, Bucha, Okhtyrka, and Mykolayiv will also receive the honorary titles of City-Heroes.
