Western Union payment system stops working in Russia
From March 24, the Western Union payment system will temporarily suspend payments in Russia
This is stated in the company's statement, EP reports.
It is noted that unpaid transfers sent from Russia to other countries before March 24, 2022, will be available to recipients in other countries at any time.
Russia's return can be obtained at any branch of the Post Bank.
"If the sender in Russia decides to return the transfer, it can be done in the office of one of our partners.
Remittances sent to Russia and not paid to the recipient by March 24, 2022, will be returned to the sender," the statement said.
Western Union in Russia operates as the Western Union of Vostok.
The net profit of the credit institution for the six months of 2021 amounted to 817.5 million rubles.
