"Values are worth more than benefits": Zelenskyy addressed French parliament
In a speech to the French parliament, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for more weapons to be provided to protect Ukraine from Russia, as well as more economic sanctions against Russia.
EP reports.
"French companies must leave Russia and stop sponsoring its military machine. They must stop financing the killing of children and women, and rape. Values are worth more than benefits. We must work together to force Russia to make peace," Zelenskyy said.
He also said that the Normandy-style talks where France took part were "a breath of fresh air" and a "glimmer of hope."
"But February 24, the day of the Russian invasion, blocked all these efforts and the very concept of dialogue between the European Union and Russia," Zelenskyy said.
