Russian propagandists Skabeeva and Kiselyov will be internationally wanted – SBU

Russian propagandists Dmitry Kiselyov and Olga Skabeeva will soon be put on the international wanted list. They have already been informed about the suspicion because of working against Ukraine.

The Security Service of Ukraine reported this.

SBU investigators are investigating criminal proceedings against Kiselyov and Skabeeva under Part 3 of Article 110 of the Criminal code of Ukraine: encroachment on territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine. The strictest sanction of the article provides for life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

"These people have long been in the field of view of the Security Service. But the basis of this criminal proceeding was their recent actions and calls for war in Ukraine. In particular, on the air of the Russian multimedia online platform, Smotrim, Skabeeva and Kiselyov publicly called for a change in the borders of Ukraine," the statement said.

The SBU notes that these propagandists are deliberately justifying Russia's war against Ukraine, in which the Russian occupiers fire on Ukrainian civilian targets, kill civilians, rape women, and loot homes.

So far, both suspects have been informed about the suspicion in Ukrainian and Russian in the manner prescribed by law.

The day before, Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova said that the cyber police had collected more than 40 hours of video footage of Skabeeva and Kiselyov justifying Russia's military aggression against Ukraine, distorting news and hiding Russia's war crimes against civilians, overthrowing the government, and seizing power.
