The European Union has approved an agreement on the transfer of classified information to Ukraine
This was reported by Bloomberg, citing sources.
According to them, the European Union has approved an agreement with Ukraine that will allow the bloc to share secret information with Kyiv, such as satellite images.
The agreement will initially last one year and may be extended, sources said.
The EU ambassadors were informed about the decision at a meeting on Tuesday, the agency added.
The Office of the President of Ukraine insists that the work of the European Commission on preparing an opinion on Ukraine's readiness to obtain candidate status will be significantly faster than in other countries that have followed this path.
An optimistic, but at the same time, realistic, deadline for granting Ukraine candidate status is the EU summit at the end of June 2022.
