Near Mariupol, "DPR" fighters captured a column of evacuation buses - Vereshchuk
On March 22, DPR militants seized a convoy of buses near Mariupol to evacuate people through an agreed humanitarian corridor.
This was reported by the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security.
According to the Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk, the incident took place near the village of Manhush, Mariupol district.
It is noted that "DPR" militants seized buses and SES employees. Vereshchuk also assures that the Ukrainian side is trying its best to pull them out.
"This is the price of the words of those who say they are peacekeepers, who say they brought peace. This is a recognized corridor. We have agreed on it, and now people are being held hostage. They are told that equipment will be taken away and people may be released, but maybe not," Vereshchuk said.
