Well-known photojournalist Maksym Levin disappeared on the front line near Kyiv

Rubryka reported this, citing a Facebook post by Levin's friend Markian Liseiko.

According to Lyseiko, the last time the photojournalist got in touch was on March 13 in the Vyshhorod district.

"Levin went in his own car to photograph the fighting on March 13. He left the car near the village of Huta Mezhyhirska and headed for the village of Moshchun.

A message was received from his phone at 11:23, after which he no longer got in touch and did not appear online," the statement said.

Markian also noted that for many days, they had been trying to find Maks Levin by all available means. However, time passes and there is no result.

"So, whoever has any information about Maks after March 13, 2022, please contact me," the statement said.

It later became known that in the area where Maks was to work, quite an intense fighting broke out.

Levin could be wounded or taken prisoner by servicemen of the Russian Federation.

Levin was born in 1981 in the Kyiv region.

He works as a photojournalist and documentary photographer and cameraman for many Ukrainian and international publications.
