What destroyed shopping center in Kyiv look like because of Russians' shelling: Rubryka's photo report
The Russian occupiers "demilitarized" a shopping center with a sports complex and supermarkets in Kyiv's Podilskyi district last night. Now rescuers are working on the site, dismantling the debris. One of the buildings of the shopping center was completely destroyed, the other was significantly damaged.
Next to the mall, there was a parking lot where cars were parked. They are mutilated, a Rubryka correspondent reports from the scene.
Also, it got a residential complex nearby. Doors and windows are broken in the houses. Locals say the blast was unexpected, with some windows blown down by the blast. Locals are also talking about injured people who were at home.
"People immediately ran to the shelters after the explosion. The blast wave was powerful, even though our house is not on the front line," said a local resident.
It is officially known that the shelling of the shopping center and residential areas killed 8 people.
The capital's prosecutor's office opened a criminal case, noting that the Russian armed forces used means of warfare prohibited by international law.
