"Drive out these slaves!": Zelenskyy addressed Ukrainians
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed residents of Kherson, Berdiansk, Kakhovka, Enerhodar, Melitopol, Mariupol, and other Ukrainian towns and villages.
He stated this during a new video address.
"I appeal to all Ukrainians, wherever we are. Do everything to protect our state. To save our people. Fight. Fight and help. Drive out these slaves! Drive out the occupiers! So that Ukraine lives. And we do with her. Free and peaceful Ukraine, which we love so much. Glory to Ukraine!" he said.
"The answer is very simple. We all understand. We are not accepted [to NATO] because they are afraid of Russia. That's all. And we need to calm down, say 'okay, other security guarantees.' There are NATO countries that want to be guarantors of security, which, unfortunately, cannot give us 100% membership in the Alliance, but are ready to do everything that the Alliance would have to do if we were its members. And I think this is a normal compromise," said the head of state.
