British government has prepared nationalization of Gazprom's subsidiary - Bloomberg
The UK government is preparing for the temporary nationalization of Gazprom's subsidiary.
This was reported by Bloomberg.
The British government is ready to establish control over Gazprom Marketing & Trading Retail Ltd. The company retails natural gas in the UK.
"Gazprom Marketing & Trading Retail Ltd, which deals with more than 30,000 customers, is the main candidate for introducing a special management regime," an informed source told the publication.
The subsidiary supplies approximately 20% of the UK's industrial and commercial gas. Among the clients of Gazprom Marketing & Trading Retail Ltd, in particular, the National Health Service and other government agencies.
