Ukrainian defenders repulsed enemy troops from Kyiv on the right bank of the Dnieper for 70 km. On the left bank, the Armed Forces stopped the advance of the enemy.
This was discussed at a briefing by Brigadier General Oleksandr Gruzevych, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Kyiv is one of the major goals of the enemy. But the plan failed. Kyiv didn't give up in three days. We completely stopped the enemy's plans. Today on the right bank, the enemy is stopped for almost 70 km, the outer ring is widened by 70 km We have a small advance on the left bank, but we have stopped it. We can be calm," Hruzevych said.
