"Our positions remain unchanged": Podoliak about talks with Russia
Mykhailo Podoliak, a member of the Ukrainian delegation to the talks with Russia, made a statement on the progress of these talks on ending the war. According to him, the Ukrainian side is not giving up its positions.
This is stated in Podoliak's Telegram channel.
The adviser to the head of the President's Office stated that the statements of the Russian representatives about the talks with Ukraine only reflect the requests of the Russian side and are intended to provoke tension in the media.
"Status of the talks. The statements of the Russian side are only their requests. All statements are aimed, among other things, at provoking tension in the media. Our positions remain unchanged: a ceasefire, withdrawal of troops, and strict security guarantees with specific formulas," Podoliak said.
Today, the head of the Russian delegation Vladimir Medinsky made several statements on the progress of negotiations. In particular, he stated the alleged "convergence of positions" on the "neutral status" of Ukraine, as well as the nuances of Ukraine's security guarantees.
