Lukashenko has stated that Belarus has no plans to deploy nuclear weapons on its own territory
Belarus has no plans to deploy any nuclear weapons on its territory. At the same time, Aleksandr Lukashenko called for the condition under which the country can reconsider its position.
RBC-Ukraine reported this.
"I do not plan to deploy nuclear weapons here, to produce nuclear weapons here, to create and use these nuclear weapons against anyone. This has never been in the plans of the Belarusian leadership and in my plans," Lukashenko said.
At the same time, Lukashenko noted that if the United States, France, and Britain allegedly deploy nuclear weapons in the immediate vicinity of Belarus, such as Poland, Lithuania, or Ukraine, his country will have to demand that Vladimir Putin's Kremlin chief return weapons once handed over to Russia.
