Chinese leader tells Biden international conflict is "in no one's interest"
In a conversation with US President Joe Biden, President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China said that the international conflict was "in no one's interest."
UNN reported this with reference to the Chinese media.
"Interstate relations cannot move to the stage of confrontation. Conflict and confrontation are not in anyone's interests. Peace and security are the most precious treasure of the international community," said the Chinese leader.
Obviously, the conversation was about Ukraine.
According to Xinhua, Xi also noted that after talks with the US President last November, the international situation has undergone new and serious changes.
