The United States and its NATO allies are sending several anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine to help defend against Russian aggression.
CNN reported this, citing information from US officials.
According to the high-ranking US representative, these additional systems include the Osa automated anti-aircraft missile system (NATO classification SA-8), the S-300 system (SA-10, SA-12), and the Strela portable anti-aircraft missile system-3 (SA-14).
According to a senior US official, the systems were obtained from NATO's partner countries and are "on the way."
It is unclear how these systems will be returned to the supplier country.
