Zelenskyy called on the Americans to show leadership and provide more support in the fight against Russian aggression.
The President thanked the United States for all the support provided: weapons, ammunition, training, finance, leadership, which helps to put pressure on the aggressor economically.
"However, now, at the darkest time for our country, for the whole of Europe, I call on you for more! New packages of sanctions are needed every week. Until the Russian military machine stops. Restrictions are needed for all those who are held by this unjust regime," Zelenskyy said.
In addition, he noted that all American companies must leave Russia. And all American ports must be closed to Russian goods and ships.
The head of state also proposes to include all Russian politicians who remain in official positions and don't sever ties with those responsible for the aggression against Ukraine in the sanctions list.
Zelenskyy proposed to create a new association: U-24.
"United for Peace. Union of responsible states that have the strength and conscience to stop conflicts. Immediately. In 24 hours to provide all necessary assistance. If necessary, weapons. If necessary, sanctions. Humanitarian support. Political support. Finance. Everything that is needed to save the world, to save lives," he said.
In addition, such an association could provide assistance to those who are experiencing natural disasters, man-made disasters, victims of humanitarian crises, or epidemics.
