Not only Drama Theater: occupiers fired on swimming pool in Mariupol, number of victims is unknown
On Wednesday, the Russian military launched an airstrike not only on the Drama Theater but also on the premises of the Neptune swimming pool. The number of victims is still unknown.
Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk regional military administration, announced this on Facebook.
"The Russians are deliberately beating civilians! These scum are trying to physically destroy Mariupol and the people of Mariupol, which have long been a symbol of our resistance. Today, they launched an airstrike on the Drama Theater and the Neptune swimming pool."
According to preliminary data, several hundred Mariupol residents were hiding in the Drama Theater. How they are now is unknown, as the entrance to the bomb shelter is blocked by debris. The Russians are already lying as if the headquarters of the Azov Regiment were there. But they themselves are well aware that there were only civilians. Similarly, only civilians were in the Neptune swimming pool building. Now there are pregnant women and women with children under the rubble. This is pure terrorism!" Kirilenko said.
According to Kyrylenko, it is currently impossible to establish the number of victims of these shellings, as well as the scale of the destruction.
Also on Wednesday, Russian troops from Grad systems fired on a convoy going from Mariupol to Zaporizhzhia. There are 5 wounded, including one child.
