9 humanitarian corridors should work on Tuesday, March 15 - Vereshchuk

As of March 15, the work of nine humanitarian corridors for evacuation of people has been agreed

This was announced by the Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk during a briefing, Rubrika reports.

According to her, nine humanitarian corridors have been agreed upon so far.

Donetsk region: humanitarian goods will leave the city of Berdiansk for the city of Mariupol, bringing tens of tons of water, medicines, and food to the people who are very much waiting for it in Mariupol.

"On the way back, we will pick up women, children, and everyone in need from Mariupol to Zaporizhzhia," Vereshchuk said.

Kyiv region: evacuation will be:

  • Bohdanivka,
  • Nova Bohdanivka,
  • Bobryk to the city of Brovary.

Sumy region:

  • Sumy,
  • Trostianets,
  • Lebedyn,
  • Shostka,
  • Konotop – Poltava.

Kharkiv region:

  • departure from the village of Oskol.

Vereshchuk also added that she was aware of the situation in Ivankiv in the Kyiv region and that Ukraine was working on an evacuation route. She expressed hope that such a humanitarian corridor would be opened on March 16.
