South Korea will send $800,000 in non-lethal military aid to Ukraine
The South Korean government will send non-lethal military cargo to Ukraine amid Russian aggression against the country
As reported by Rubryka, this was announced by The Korea Herald.
The aid package includes about 20 items: tents, food, blankets, and first aid kits.
The cost of cargo is 804,181 US dollars.
"As for details including how to ship them and other specific issues, (related) consultations are underway," said South Korean Defense Ministry spokesperson Boo Seung-chan.
Earlier, the ministry said it saw "restrictions" on the transfer of lethal weapons to Ukraine.
Tonrecap, Ukraine has appealed to several other countries for humanitarian and military support, including rifles, anti-tank missiles, and other weapons after the Russian invasion.
In February, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea Dmytro Ponomarenko appealed to the country to help strengthen Ukraine's cybersecurity potential.
